Overview

Raising your eyebrows, concentrating, squinting or frowning – whenever you move your face, your forehead muscles contract. After years of frequent contraction, combined with environmental and lifestyle factors such as exposure to sunlight, smoking and pollution, lines and wrinkles begin to form.

The main cause of forehead wrinkles is a decrease in the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. These proteins are responsible for our skin’s elasticity, but production drops as we age. The main factors responsible for the development of forehead lines include:

stress

sun damage

smoking

drinking alcohol

dehydration,

Genetics

After Care:
We recommend that you avoid lying down for 4 hours following the procedure to prevent Botox from tracking around back of your eye, potentially causing eyelid drooping.

Additionally, we advise against touching, applying makeup, or rubbing the treated areas for 15 hours, including any facials. Exercise should be avoided for 48 hours, and extensive sun exposure or heat, such as hot showers/saunas/steam rooms, should be avoided for 48 hours. We also recommend refraining from alcohol consumption for 24 hours.
