Milia are small, raised, off-white or yellowish bumps on your skin. They usually occur on the face, particularly around the eyelids, cheeks, nose, forehead and chest, but they can appear anywhere on the body. These occur when dead skin cells gather and they get caught under new skin, at which point they harden and form a milium.
